Chapter 4 of Conscious Tribes tells Robbo’s story up until the end of the Your Rights at Work.
But his journey didn’t end there. After leading unions he went on to become an elected Australian Labor Party (ALP) politician, first as the Minister for Transport and then as Opposition Leader.
He left parliament in 2017 and became the head of the community organisation FoodBank NSW.
In this chat we explore his reflections on power and party politics. He talks bluntly about where in his life he felt he made the most difference – and his answer might surprise you.
He is frank and fearless, as you would expect!
