The Podcast

Before Conscious Tribes there was ChangeMakers Podcast
Sharing stories of people changing the world
Launched in 2017 and hosted by Amanda Tattersall, ChangeMakers Podcast releases episodes every Tuesday sharing stories about people changing the world. On the same channel and over 200 episodes (and counting), ChangeMakers releases different kinds of content:
- ChangeMaker Chats: Long-form interviews with people from all walks of life who are making change
- The ChangeMaker Digest: Where Amanda teams up with co-host Samuel Chu to digest a current story or issue, applying the paradoxes and principles outlined in Conscious Tribes
- ChangeMaker Stories: The back catalogue features 30+ long form stories about people making a difference (from Standing Rock to #FeesMustFall, to the 2019 Hong Kong protests to the Bentley Blockade in the Northern Rivers)
ChangeMakers Podcast features well-known agitators alongside lesser known community leaders. Some call themselves change makers, others find the label too grand. Some work through organisations or movements, others practice their existing roles – as doctors, journalists, lawyers, or parents – in ways that change the world around them. In these conversations, they reflect on what works, what doesn’t, and how change actually happens.
If Conscious Tribes offers a map of public life, the podcast brings that map to life – through stories, strategies and lived experience. Story by story, it reveals the many ways that people can navigate power, build relationships and create change over time.
